About NTU School of Social Sciences
The School of Social Sciences (SSS) is one of the four Schools under the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) at NTU, and is home to research and education in the social sciences. SSS offers study programmes in a range of subjects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, from a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSci) with direct Honours to Master of Science (MSc) by coursework, Master of Arts (MA) by research, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Presently, SSS offers four subject majors at the undergraduate level—Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, and Sociology. They can also choose to read interdisciplinary studies in Economics and Data Science, or a combination of Double Majors from a specially curated list of subjects.
At the graduate level, SSS offers PhD and MA programmes in all four subject majors as well as MSc in Applied Economics and Applied Gerontology.

Undergraduate Programmes
SSS offers undergraduate study programmes in the four single majors—Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, and Sociology—as well as single majors with integrated second majors, and specially curated combinations of Double Majors. Our latest offering includes an interdisciplinary integrated degree programme, BSc (Hons) in Economics & Data Science.
SSS Alumni
